What a 30 KB limit means
The downloaded file should contain no more than 30 kilobytes, equal to 30,720 bytes in this tool. This kind of limit is often used for strict application forms, identity portals and lightweight profile images. The compressor searches for the best practical quality and, when necessary, reduces dimensions so the file can fit.
A tiny target cannot preserve every pixel of a large camera photo. Detailed textures, small writing and gradients need more information than a simple portrait or logo. Always open the downloaded result and check the content that matters before submitting it.
How to create the smaller image
- Open the target-size compressor and choose an image.
- Keep the maximum size set to 30 KB.
- Choose JPG or WebP and start compression.
- Inspect and download the locally created result.
Choose JPG or WebP
JPG is widely accepted by forms and older systems, while WebP can create a smaller modern-web file. Transparency is not available in JPG output. If a form rejects WebP, choose JPG even when its file is slightly larger. For transparent artwork, use the ordinary converter or compressor and verify the destination format rules.
Privacy and reliability
Compression takes place with the browser's canvas and image encoder. The selected file is not sent to an InYourTab.com processing server. Keep the original image, verify the downloaded dimensions and avoid repeated compression of an already degraded copy.
