PRIVACY POLICY

Your files stay on your device.

This policy describes the current InYourTab.com beta and was last updated on 21 July 2026.

Local file processing

When you select a file, the browser gives the current tab temporary access. Available tools process the file using browser APIs and locally bundled open-source document libraries. PDF, DOCX, PPTX, ODT, image, audio and video contents are not transmitted to an InYourTab.com server.

Accounts and personal information

The current version has no account system, contact form, payment system or newsletter. It does not request a name, email address, telephone number or payment information.

Calculator and text inputs

Values entered into calculators, timers, text tools and developer utilities are processed in the open tab. InYourTab.com does not transmit or retain those working values on an InYourTab.com server.

Local storage

InYourTab.com may store a small list of recently opened tool identifiers and usage counts in the browser’s local storage. This information stays on the device, contains no file contents or calculator values and can be removed by clearing site data.

Anonymous website analytics

The public website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. A page view may include the page path, timestamp, referrer, approximate country or region, device type, operating system and browser. InYourTab.com removes query strings and fragments before an event is sent.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies. It does not receive tool inputs, file names, file contents, calculator values, text entered into a tool, local usage history, names, email addresses or payment details from InYourTab.com. No custom analytics events are sent.

Vercel derives a temporary visitor identifier from request information and discards the underlying hash after 24 hours. Read Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation for its current technical details.

Advertising and partners

The current version contains no advertising network, behavioural advertising profile, sponsor integration or affiliate provider. If that changes, this policy and the interface must identify the provider before activation.

Temporary browser access

Refreshing or closing the tab releases the in-memory working session. Downloaded results are saved only where the user instructs the browser to save them.

Document limitations

Text extraction reads text already stored in supported documents and does not perform OCR on scanned pages. Password-protected PDFs and legacy .doc files are not supported. Users should keep originals and verify important output files.

Public-launch requirement

Before public launch, the operator must add business contact information, governing jurisdiction, effective date, data-request process and any notices required by the countries being served.
